What is Water Marbling?
Water marbling is an ancient art form that dates back over 1,000 years, with roots in Asia and later popularized in Turkey and Europe. Traditionally used to decorate paper for books and documents, the technique has evolved into creating stunning designs on fabric and other materials.
Today, we use this same time-honored process to create modern wearable art. Special paints float on the surface of water, shaped into patterns, and then transferred onto fabric. Because the paint moves freely on water, no two designs can ever be replicated — making every scarf and bandana a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art.
